Pay for School Meals Online

MyPaymentsPlus is a state-of-the-art online service that provides you the convenience and information you need to manage your student’s meal account. This system speeds up serving lines in the cafeteria, eliminates the need to send checks to school or worry about lost or forgotten lunch money, and ensures that your child will receive a nutritious meal.

At no cost, MyPaymentsPlus allows you to check your student’s account balance online, view what your student has been eating in the cafeteria, and automatically receive email notifications when the account reaches a low balance. You can pay online into your student’s meal account using a check, credit card, or debit card. You can also use the Autopay feature to automatically replenish your student’s account when it reaches a low balance.

To sign up, simply visit: www.MyPaymentsPlus.com then Click on “Register Now.” You will need your student’s ID number to complete registration. If you don’t know your child’s student ID, please contact your school to obtain this information.

To aid in managing your student’s account on-the-go, MyPaymentsPlus also has a free mobile app available for iPhone, iPad and Android phones. For questions pertaining to managing your account or navigating through the MyPaymentsPlus website, please email SLC@Horizonsoftware.com or call 1-877-237-0946 (Option 8).

FREE AND REDUCED MEAL BENEFITS APPLICATIONS

Parents are still encouraged to complete a free and reduced meal application. The free meal program offered this year does not qualify schools for crucial Title I funding (which is allocated to schools based on the number of students who apply and qualify for free or reduced meals), nor does it qualify individuals for “free or reduced” status. Therefore, households must still submit a Free or Reduced Meal Benefit Application (or directly certify) to qualify for Pandemic EBT funds, fee waivers, or any other local, state, or federal programs that require such status.

Important things to remember:

  1. Every school year, EVERYONE must reapply/qualify for free and reduced meal benefits (after July 1). These federal meal benefits do not transfer from year to year.
  2. Submit only ONE APPLICATION for your entire household. Do not submit a separate application for each child who attends school.
  3. Be careful to include all students and members of your household on the application.  Don’t miss anyone.
  4. You must provide your student(s) birthday and/or student identification number to complete the application. Contact your school secretary if you do not have this information.
  5. Upon completion, the computer program will provide a confirmation number.  Keep a record of that number as proof that your application has been submitted.
  6. Remember that the parent/guardian is responsible for all meal charges accrued while your application is being approved. Don’t wait. Apply early!
  7. Once the application is approved, you will receive a letter by mail within 10 business days that identifies the qualified meal benefit status for each student.
